At Hotel Angerwirt · cosy holiday home in Kleinarl, you’ll find around 200 m² of space to unwind, with our Panorama Indoor Pool and wellness area right in the hotel. In summer, our natural garden by the Kleinarler Ache and the heated 6 × 12 metre outdoor pool at the edge of the forest by the Landhaus are part of it too.
After a hike, a day on the slopes or a rainy day, perhaps a swim, a few quiet lengths in the pool, some time in the sauna or steam bath – and then a relaxed start to the evening.
Wellness is simply part of a holiday with us.

Our Panorama Indoor Pool is open daily from 7.15 am to 8.00 pm.
The pool features an integrated whirlpool bench and waterfall neck jet, with loungers around the pool. And thanks to the large windows, Kleinarl never feels very far away.
For families, the indoor pool is often an easy option after a day outdoors – or when the weather doesn’t quite play along.
And if you prefer a quieter swim, the early morning or later afternoon may be just right.
From 6.00 pm onwards, we ask for a quieter atmosphere in the indoor pool.
That way, the same pool can work for different kinds of holiday days.
Warmth after a day in Kleinarl
Jägersee, a hiking trail or the ski slopes outside. Afterwards, it’s time for warmth.
Our wellness area at Hotel Angerwirt is open daily from 3.30 to 8.00 pm for guests aged 15 and over.
You’ll find a traditional sauna at 90–100 °C, an aroma steam bath at around 40 °C, an infrared cabin with colour light, as well as places to rest with loungers and a heated bench.
There are also Kneipp foot basins, a massage shower and our tea room with comfortable loungers, warm blankets and something to read.
A fitness room with indoor bike, treadmill, weight bench, dumbbells and yoga mats is also available.
You don’t need to turn any of this into a programme of its own.
Sometimes, those one or two hours between being outside and heading to dinner are exactly what you need.

Garden by the Kleinarler Ache
A little more sunshine.
Right beside Angerwirt lies our natural garden of more than 1,000 m² by the Kleinarler Ache, with places to lie down and a daybed for reading, dozing or simply doing nothing for a while.
It’s especially lovely later in the afternoon: when the area around the outdoor pool by the forest is already in the shade, there’s often still a little sunshine left here.
After the indoor pool or sauna, take a book to the daybed, listen to the river and simply stay there for a while.
A summer spot where you sometimes don’t need anything else planned.

Summer in Kleinarl, with a pool break
In summer, our outdoor pool area by the Landhaus is waiting for you, around a three-minute walk from the hotel.
The heated outdoor pool measures 6 × 12 metres, is 1.40 metres deep and features a counter-current system. There is also a separate toddler pool for younger children.
Around the pool, you’ll find a sunbathing lawn at the edge of the forest with loungers and parasols, as well as changing facilities.
During the summer season, weather permitting, the outdoor pool is open daily from 7.30 am to 8.00 pm, from around mid-June to mid-September.
Maybe the children have already spent the whole morning outdoors. Or perhaps there isn’t a big excursion planned today at all.
Then the pool is allowed to be the destination for the day.
